Today, August 20, 2018, marks a pivotal moment for SpaceX and it’s upcoming Crew Dragon missions. As documented by social media users the new Crew Access Arm (CAA) is currently in the process of being installed at the historic Launch Complex 39 - Pad A. As you may be able to tell SpaceX, for the moment, has decided to keep the “leftover” structure from the Space Shuttle era an industrial gray color while their more futuristic CAA is a bright, shiny, and monochrome scheme. This little advancement is a huge step in the right direction to returning astronauts to the International Space Station from American soil, once again. Follow along with SpaceX as they inch ever closer to their first Crew Dragon demonstration flight currently scheduled for November 2018.
